Do Associations Need Social Media?
Lauren Wolfe and a team of panelists plan start a discussion about social media technologies in the association community. Attendees will break into workshop groups for a truly interactive session covering several hot technologies, such as blogging, audio podcasts, video podcasts, Facebook, LinkedIn®, and wikis. Attendees will get hands-on experience with the tools they want to learn about with young, professional “experts” by your side. Lauren will specifically cover Facebook—she'll talk about how to set up an account including the pros and cons of using Facebook to connect with your members and explain how Facebook can be a member benefit.
